What is the Choose for Yourself Challenge?

The Choose for Yourself Challenge is a simple and powerful way to create positive change in your life by using your gift of choice. Everything is a choice. To be happy, sad, stressed, fulfilled, it’s your choice. However, most people give up the right to choose without even being aware. They let their circumstances, habits, emotions, or other people dictate their decisions and actions. They feel stuck, frustrated, or powerless to change their situation. They forget that they have the ultimate power to shape their own destiny: the power of choice.

The Choose for Yourself Challenge is designed to help you reclaim your power of choice and use it to create the future you want. It takes 21 days to build a habit, and this challenge will guide you on a daily journey to explore and assess different areas of your life where you make daily choices, some you are aware of and others you are not. You will start to uncover the choices you are making (consciously or unconsciously) or letting be made for you.  You will learn how to recognize and overcome the barriers that prevent you from choosing for yourself, such as fear, doubt, guilt, or lack of clarity. You will also discover how to align your choices with your values, goals, and vision, and how to take consistent action to make your choices a reality. By the end of the challenge, you will have a new habit of becoming aware, being grateful and choosing for yourself bringing a new level of confidence, happiness, and fulfillment in your life.

  5. What improvements would you like to see?  What benefits do you envision you could have by making changes?
  6. When during your day could you set aside 10 minutes to focus on you and your choices?

  2. Questions for you to consider about the choices you are currently making.
  3. A 5-minute exercise to identify one choice you are now aware of and are grateful for and an action you will take to improve your desired outcome.
