Everything is a choice.
To be happy, sad, stressed, fulfilled, it's your choice. However, most people give up the right to choose without even being aware.
You are always one choice away from a completely different life.
Your life is defined by the choices you make and the actions you take. If you don't like something, start by making different choices. You can either fill your cup (energized and joyful), empty it (overwhelmed and stressed) or let it grow cold (just going through the motions.)
By becoming aware and consciously choosing thoughts, perspectives, and actions you will immediately notice the change in your life. You will be begin to cultivate a life filled with joy, peace, confidence, gratitude, resilience, and fulfillment. Embrace the power of choice and watch as your life transforms into a reflection of your intentional decisions and unwavering commitment to you.
What empties your cup?
Your choices start by understanding what choices you are currently making by looking at your actions. Actions stem from your thoughts and beliefs and triggered by events. This includes if you are letting people or circumstances dictate the way to you react and the actions you take. Here are just a few of the many common things we hear.
People
I am surrounded by people (work / relationships) that drain my energy. I react negatively to them and feel bad after our interactions. As a result, I often take it out on the people most important to me.
Time
I am exhausted at the end of the day but still did not get done "everything I needed to". I never have time to myself. I'm stressed and overwhelmed. I don't spend enough time with the people that matter.
Purpose
I don't feel fulfilled at work / home / relationships. The passion is gone. I just go through the motions. There are things I want to do and goals I want to accomplish but I am unmotivated.
Health
I stress eat. I stress drink. I'm overweight. I'm tired all the time and have little to no energy. I have headaches and migraines. I have a hard time sleeping. I find it hard to get motivated.

We all make mistakes and have setbacks and successes, but one thing never changes. Your life is a result of the choices you make. You can let people or circumstances define you and choose for you or you can choose. If you don’t like your life, make better choices.

Example: I feel overworked and it is causing me to be angry all the time, impacting my health.

Example: I’m grateful I am now aware I feel and act angry regarding my level of work.

Choose
Choose to stay as you are or choose to change.
Example: Angry is not who I want to be, I choose to re-evaluate my thoughts, beliefs and actions.
